During the Greater Heat period, the risk of invasion by damp-heat continues to be high or some individuals might experience fatigue from the constant damp-heat invasion. Moxibustion therapy can boost the immunity strength to maintain the body’s resilience.
大暑时期炎热与湿气持续增加,人们易遭湿热高频率的侵入或因此感到乏力等。艾灸保健可以增强免疫力,从而让身体内部系统更加强壮。

1. Zusanli Point (ST36)
Functions:
– Boost immune system
– Strengthen the spleen function to defend against dampness invasion.
Location:
3 cun below Dubi Point ST35 (depression on the knee, lateral to the patellar ligament), one finger-breadth (middle finger) from the anterior crest of the tibia.
– Hold the lighted moxa stick 2cm above the acupoint.
– Move the moxa stick in slow circular motion (radius distance up to 2cm from acupoint) around the point for 15~30min or until skin is warm and lightly flushed.
– Repeat on the other limb.

1. 足三里穴(ST36)
功效:
古称“长寿穴”, 是全身的强壮要穴
位置:
犊鼻穴下三寸,距胫骨前缘旁开一横指(中指)。
(*犊鼻穴在屈膝时,在髌骨下缘,髌韧带外侧凹陷中)
– 将艾条点燃后,在上述穴位上方距离肌肤2厘米处缓慢绕圈(以穴位为圆心半径2厘米以内)挥动15-30分钟、或直至上述穴位有温热感且肌肤淡淡泛红即可。
– 于另一腿穴位处重复上述操作。
