WHAT IS COLD DEW? 何为寒露?

Cold Dew is the fifth Solar Term of Autumn period. It falls on 8 Oct 2023 (Sun). During this period, the weather is dry and the lungs are susceptible to common cold with dry cough. It is recommended to increase daily fluids intake and avoid spicy food.

寒露是秋季的第五个节气,日期为2023年10月8日(星期日)。

此时燥邪之气容易侵犯人体而耗伤肺之阴液。自然界中,阳气渐退,阴气渐长,风起叶落。饮食方面,我们可以适当多吃性味甘、淡、滋润的食品,少吃辛辣刺激类,以及注意补充水分。

Recipe:
Mulberry Leaves with Goji Berries Tea

Benefits:
– Relief wind-heat and cough, tonify kidneys and liver, improve eyesight.

Ingredients:
– Mulberry Leaves 5g
– Goji Berries 9g

Instructions:
– Wash the mulberry leaves and goji berries.
– Place them into a teapot.
– Add 450ml boiling water and simmer for 10 min.

食谱:
桑叶枸杞茶

功效:
祛风散热,止咳平喘;
补肾益精,养肝明目。

材料:
– 桑叶 5克
– 枸杞 9克

步骤:
– 将桑叶和枸杞洗净,置入茶壶中。
– 在壶里注入450ml沸水,浸泡10分钟后即可享用。

1. Taiyuan Point (LU9)

Location:

On the traverse crease of the wrist, in the depression on the radial side of the radial artery. 

Massage gently in circular motion, approximately 20 times to stimulate the point.

位置:
在腕掌侧横纹桡侧端,桡动脉搏动处。

轻轻打圈按揉上述穴位约20次。
